Sempre penso que uma grande idéia da fotografia é capturar, em uma imagem estática, a sensação do movimento. É como se pudéssemos olhar para a foto e imaginamos o movimento que ela faz!

I always think that a great idea of photography is to capture, in a static image, the sensation of movement. It looks like if we look at the picture and imagine the move it makes!

Sunday in the Park

Cotton candy smell and the sound of laughter
Children playing on the carousel
The red ballon getting lost in the sky
And the carousel got spinning all day long! 

Cheiro de algodão-doce e som de risada
Crianças brincando no carrossel
Balão vermelho a se perder no céu
E o carrossel vai girando o dia todo!!

Delicadeza

Tenho pensado bastante em delicadezas... de movimento, de olhares, de sorriso, de imagens. Hoje li um pensamento de Rubem Alves, que me trouxe a sensação da delicadeza do amor. Dizia: "Discreto tocar de dedos, suave encontro de olhares: coisa deliciosa. E por ser tão suave, que o amor se recusa a segurar. Amar é ter um pássaro pousado no dedo." Achei que esta foto traz essa sensação delicada.

Have been thinking about delicates... movement, looks, smile and images. Today I read a poem Rubem Alves, who brought me a sense of the delicacy of love. He said: "Intimate touching of fingers, soft eyes meet: good thing. And because it is so smooth, love refuses to hold. Love is having a bird landed on my finger." I thougth this picture brings that feeling delicate.

Attraction

Yesterday, I was at Art Bienal, São Paulo. This art translated what exactly I was feeling at that moment: so attracted, but at the same time untouchable. The most closer I get, more it tends to keep away.


Ontem, estive na Bienal de Artes, São Paulo. Esta obra traduziu o que exatamente estava sentindo naquele momento: tão atraída, mas ao mesmo tempo intocável. Quanto mais me aproximo, mais tende a se afastar.

And the sun shone once again

    Yesterday the sun came out, patiently and slowly thawing the snow from the previous days. It's beautiful to witness these opposing forces fighting against each other.


    Ontem o sol saiu, paciente e lentamente descongelando a neve dos dias anteriores. É lindo presenciar essas forças opostas lutando uma contra a outra.

The best way to enjoy the first snowfall and the inescapable freezing weather is appreciating the beautiful scenery that comes along. And that's what I did today!
